Tora and Ding Dang
Posted on 2009-01-15 11:02 p.m.
Anyone still remember this?

I saw this when I travel to PD for UAT last month. We were having our breakfast at a rest area to Seremban. Then I saw this. One of my childhood thing that I always buy. I still remember the advertisement that appear in TV when I watching cartoon in TV 1. For those that remember this, sure remember the advertisement song. :P
So I bought it and the shopkeeper asked me, is for myself or for my son. -.-" Now the Ding Dang is RM 1 while Tora just RM 1.50. So guess what I get in the box?

Not bad…. Got Gundam haha. Childhood memories...

How to utilize your shoe box
Posted on 2009-01-12 10:54 p.m.
Do you know that those shoes box that you get when you get your new shoes is quite useful?

Last time I do keep my shoes box but I never use it. Then I realize that it would be nice for me to keep something. Want to know what I keep inside my shoes box?

Haha not jewelry or accessories of course… This all is my BE@RBRICK box. Some people might think why need to keep those box. For a collector, they not only collect those figure but they also will collect those box for future purpose as maybe one day they might sell it off therefore if come together with a box it seem like a complete one rather than just the figure alone. But I’ll never sell any of my BE@RBRICK :P

This is how it begins. I started my collection since Series 9 which is in year 2005. Then I continue to buy until now and it will keep on grow which I don’t know until when. Currently I already don’t have enough space to fit my BE@RBRICK. Even the boxes already full in my 2 Nike Shoe box.

X'mas trip to SG
Posted on 2009-01-11 8:34 p.m.
Last month I went to Singapore for holiday, therefore last year I didn’t celebrate X’mas at KL as I drove to Singapore in the morning on Christmas to Singapore. I went together with my family and as usual stayed at my Aunt house. Spent 4 days at Singapore and just do some shopping at Orchard and went to Vivo and Clarke Quay as I never been there before.
One of my brother main purpose go to Singapore is to try this.

A well known cake shop, Canele at Singapore.
Here are the cakes that we tried.

This is one of the best I had tried. It is green tea mousse cake. We usually taste the green tea cake where inside do have red bean, but this is green tea mousse which is something new to us and it was recommended by a customer when we was there.

This is nothing special as currently we do have Choc Mousse cake but this added with feullitine that make it crispy and crunchy

This is look nice with the half circle chocolate on top. But I not really like it compare to others.

Combination of chocolate and cheese is always the best.

The ordinary Tiramisu but it does look special for the black and white stripe topping.

This is Christmas special, Caramel, Cheese, and cake covered by chocolate mousse. Not the best but taste great too.
Overall all the cakes are nice and we hope to bring this inspiration to Cake Indigo. Before I forget to tell, for all the cake that we tasted the total bill cost us around SGD 50 which is not cheap at all. Each of it cost around SGD 6.90 to SGD 8.90.
Didn’t take much picture at Singapore, here are 2 pictures that I took when went to Clarke Quay.

Klang Gates Dam Expedition
Posted on 2009-01-10 10:46 a.m.
Yes I'm back. No more PD for me. Yesterday went to Nokia 5800 XpressMusic launch at Pavilion. Cool one... but I didn't bring my camera along... too bad.
Last weekend me and my friends went to Klang Gates Dam at Taman Melawati. A well-known place for jungle trekking and nice view from the top and I also heard is not easy to climb.

We reached there late, around 9AM then we start to walk. Based on what my friend told me, this time will use another path as he been there before. So we walked and climb for around 1 hour to reach a place where we can see this.

We still not yet see the Klang Gates Dam therefore we continue to walk. Finally we able to see it.

This is Klang Gates Dam, first reservoir in Malaysia and it was opened in 1958. The dam is a water supply dam and is one of the major suppliers of drinking water to residents of Klang Valley.
We decided to stop at there as we are quite tired to continue. So here we are in the Klang Gates Dam.

Nice place to go. I'm sure will come again.

Pictures taken with IXUS 960 IS.
